St+art Street Art Festival 2016

When art comes out from galleries and museums to streets to people it becomes Street art. Street - buzzing, growing, dying with every passing day. Street which is witness to the change, to history of that place.
Street art is an experience of getting submerged in art , seeing it at such magnitude! I wonder how engaged the artist must be while creating such huge art work. Along with the size of art piece the size of intention, idea, urge is also huge. It influence the social thread of urban spaces, dedicating, motivating, expressing the thought process of space and its people.
WIP - Work in progress is the theme of Street Art show by St+Art. Street art done on Ship containers by artist from all over world. Work in progress - thats wat we all are!!

She painted her brother, having conversation with himself. Something almost everyone elude. Elude meeting self, elude expressing ourselves. Reflection of people in urban spaces.

Looks change as we go closer.. from beautiful to ugly and sometimes from ugly to beautiful! Is artist talking about buildings or people! Again its all about urban spaces, life and people!

Just imagine these containers being used later for shipments and they carry this art to various places. Isnt that what contemporary art all about. Not belonging to one place, going beyond boundaries and languages!

God or godman! Selfie style..posing and attention seeking!

When man seems like face of society but fibre is women

Blessing from the sky! And whose eye is that looking at all of us? Satellites?!

Art always create space which connect people and thr energies.. space to expand and express..

Space to experience and witness..
As sun was setting and rays reflected from surfaces the art works became more and more beautiful and looked like they were changing with changing light. And then music filled the air, people were just sitting or roaming around and enjoying the coolness and coziness!

Calligraphy and  graffiti together are called Calligraffiti.. An artist from Amsterdam , whose style is calligraffiti used all kinds of brooms to create his art.  His art is a way to have conversation with  art strokes with wind and paper and surface where paint falls . Its  like experiencing the art not just seeing it. And then he uses walls to write  his heart out. How liberating that would be!!

Larger  than life  experience of the small small things in our life. one thing i am sure i wont miss any street art from now on and one wall i ll definitely draw.. dont know when...don t know where!
